Due to evolving funding landscapes, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) was not awarded the next round of support for the Professional Access into Employment (PAIE) program. 

Since 2006, PAIE has helped more than 650 internationally trained professionals transition into rewarding careers in Ontario’s environmental, infrastructure, and development sectors. Participants see an average 280% increase in employment income after participating in the program, with many securing jobs while still enrolled. 

PAIE is a proven model for economic inclusion and workforce development — contributing more than $2.5 million annually through participant wage growth alone.

TRCA remains committed to this vital program and is actively seeking new funding partners and sponsors to help ensure its future.
